Edelweiss Patterns I have the loveliest photos to share today! Emily from @limemadebyem on Instagram used my Liesl’s Dancing Dress Pattern to sew a dreamy pink chiffon dress for herself, and had professional photographs taken in a gorgeous garden for these “Sound of Music” themed pictures! You can see definite nods to “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” in a few of the photographs!
And she also used a guitar case and vintage lace-up shoes for a darling Liesl/Maria mashup look!
Aren’t the photos adorable? Emily did such a gorgeous job sewing this dress! Sometimes when I see customer photos using this pattern, it’s hard to believe it’s been over 10 years since we had our own Liesl photo shoot for the pattern and website release. Time really does fly!
